Biography:  An ICT professional specializing in healthcare ICT, Mike's career started in the NHS where he spent 13 years including four as the Head of IT at a London teaching hospital. Since then he has worked as an ICT consultant in a wide range of healthcare organisations from district general hospitals and other local bodies to national level. His contributions to UKCHIP as an elected and shadow council member have included:

• major input into the development of the Code of Conduct, Registration Standards and Registration Guidance
• leading the team that developed the revised Registration Standards which will be introduced in due course
• acting as UKCHIP representative on programme boards for the HI Professional Awards and HI National Occupational Standards.
