The UKCHIP Public Register of Health Informatics Professionals
The UKCHIP Public Register serves three main purposes:
-
It is a means by which UKCHIP registrants can demonstrate their achievement of professional status.
-
It is an open service by a registration body with a responsibility to protect patients and the general public.
-
It is a service to employers of Health Informatics staff to confirm the professional status of their employees or potential employees
It allows anyone to check whether a health informatics professional has been assessed successfully against our standards. The register is linked directly to our database, which means that any changes we make to a registrant's information are shown immediately on the register.
